Sipping on a poolside smoothie, enjoying a sunset glass of wine and indulging in an after-dark cocktail are some of cruising’s greatest joys! While it is possible to operate on a pay-as-you go basis Royal Caribbean also offers its passengers the chance to add-on drink packages that make the entire process an absolute breeze. The line spoils its passengers for choice and cater to more or less every need. To help you decide which Royal Caribbean drink package is for you, we’ve put together a complete guide covering all of the different options. Cheers!

This is a great budget option for those who prefer to stick to beer and wine. You can enjoy beverages worth up to US$8 although you won’t be able to order mixed drinks, shots or cocktails.
Premium Package – US$49 per person/per day
Got a taste for the finer things in life? The Premium Package offers passengers beer, wine, premium cocktails and frozen cocktails of up to US$12 value. Want it all? Signing up for the Ultimate Package gets you everything on the menu, from beer, wine, shots and cocktails to coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juice and water. Unlimited beverage packages
If you’re more of a mocktail kind of cruiser or simply aren’t old enough to drink alcohol an unlimited beverage package is a terrific option.
Royal Replenish – US$19 per person/per day
Designed to refresh, the Royal Replenish package gives you access to coffee, tea, sparkling or still bottled water, freshly squeezed juice and non-alcoholic cocktails. While Royal Caribbean does provide some complimentary refreshments this package is fantastic for those who fancy a little more choice.
Royal Refreshment – US$4.50 per person/per day (passengers 17 or under) or US$6.50 per person/per day (passengers 18 or over)
Love all things fizzy and sweet? You won’t be able to resist the Royal Refreshment package which treats passengers to unlimited soft drinks throughout the cruise.
A final tip…
While the mention of ‘all inclusive’ can be tempting it’s important to determine whether or not you’ll be able to drink your money’s worth. If you only plan on having a drink or two a day then it will be more cost effective to just pay-as-you-go. On the other hand, those who love to always have a drink in their hands will find the packages incredible value! At the end of the day it all depends on your budget, your cruising style and your estimated daily drink intake.
